In these two interviews from Toms's "New Dimensions Radio" program, Kornfield explains how a true spiritual path takes us into our dark side, as well as into the "real world." With anecdotes and examples, Kornfield patiently explains how the true spiritual path is a path with heart. Kornfield's voice is filled with the kindness and compassion that mark his life and practice. It's easy for the listener to be captivated by the awe that creeps into his voice, to be reassured by the gentle humor that colors his remarks. But Toms also occasionally intrudes, rather than simply asking a question or making a comment and stepping aside.
