LETHAL JUSTICE

In the sixth installment of Michaels's popular Sisterhood of Revenge series, the group of women continues to go after criminals who have escaped the justice system. Alexis Thorne served prison time after her partners looted her clients' accounts and set her up to take the rap for securities fraud. As the vigilantes devise and exact comeuppance for the high-rolling partners, they must try to stay one step ahead of the law and the two reporters dogging their tracks. Laural Merlington has performed the entire series. She generally does well with both male and female characters and the wide range of accents. However, Merlington's recurring characterizations of two sexagenarian women age them to the point that listeners can almost hear the dentures click.
