Barbra Streisand is show business--a legend in our time. Born in Brooklyn in 1942, she always wanted to be an actress. Her name was a proverbial household word by the mid-1960's. This handy program puts her life into perspective, telling what happened, when, and who else was involved. Some dialogue occurs; however, it's largely indistinguishable from the body of the narrative. Reader Isabel Liss makes no attempt to copy Barbra's inimitable style or to imitate the voices of her cohorts. Also, the program contains no music.
