If you ever had to move to a new neighborhood and a new school when you were young, you probably remember how scared you were. HEY NEW KID relates Cody's experience and how his overly imaginative storytelling helps him succeed in making new friends. But what will happen when they find out the truth? Johnny Heller narrates this audiobook in a low-key, simple voice that helps to diffuse the outrageous stories Cody tells. He uses slight vocal changes for different characters, relying mostly on pace, intonation and the words themselves to differentiate the characters.
