BOYS BEWARE Comedy, Calamity and Cool Characters

Emily and Tash are delighted to be on their own in an apartment while their parents are on assignment. Clare Corbett precisely captures the teenaged girls' emotions as they discover the good and bad of being independent, meeting the right boy, and going to a big party. Corbett uses subtler tones as their quieter, so-called "weird," sister lands a great boyfriend. Ure and Corbett are a wonderful team. The story is most entertaining when the kids are being reprimanded by a teacher who has a voice like a machine gun. This is a fun coming-of-age story for listeners going through that very thing.
