LEADING A WORTHY LIFE Bible Study with Jimmy Carter

In his familiar voice, President Jimmy Carter speaks in clear, even tones on the New Testament Book of Ephesians. Four lessons were recorded live in Plains, Georgia, in 1998 as Carter instructed an adult Sunday school class. Relevant concerns are discussed, such as disunity in the church and fundamentalism, along with Ephesians' themes of love and reconciliation. The lessons are augmented by examples from Carter's personal life--anecdotes about his family and his life as a politician, farmer, businessman, husband, and father--and examples from world events. While Carter uses subtle, light humor throughout and each class begins and ends with prayer and music, this audio is more memoir than Bible study.
