HUNTER'S MOON

by | Read by George Guidall

Mystery & Suspense • 8.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2007

Former U.S. President Kal Wilson is dying. He has one more score to settle before he gives in to disease. He coerces retired deep-cover agent Doc Ford into helping him with this final mission. The machismo is all in place, and although Doc Ford is not the personable character he is in the author's other Doc Ford adventures, George Guidall's performance is impeccable. Guidall's pacing in action sequences sets pulses pounding, his character voices are consistent and believable, his women characters (however few) don't simper, and his accents, Middle Eastern and Spanish, are flawless. Fans will savor this fourteenth outing into the world of "black ops," especially Ford's run-ins with a vicious serial psycho who enjoys burning victims alive.
