THE LAST DRAGON

De Mari has spun an engaging fantasy adventure involving an elf, a dragon, humans good and bad, and a prophesy that brings them all together. The writing and narration mesh beautifully, and the listener is immediately drawn to the plight of Yorsh, " an elf born lately." The gentle and steady narration makes one eager to hear what comes next for Yorsh. Patricia Conolly captures the personalities of the diverse characters and gives them distinct voices. Her pacing, cadence, and expression enhance the dialogue while giving the story an appropriate depth and tone of seriousness.
