Laura Hicks achieves what must be on the list of "Top Ten Traits of a Great Narrator": performing a regional accent so accurately that listeners can identify the character's home state before the story reveals it. Hicks nails the Maine accent of "divorce coach" Dr. Clare Ballenger's love interest and is equally genuine in portraying the Southern voices of Clare and her fellow Alabamans. As Clare helps strangers, close friends, and family members recover from divorce, she faces her own difficulty moving on from past relationships.
