What is the best birthday present for a friend? Andy sets out in search of the answer. It takes a night's journey for Andy to find the perfect present. He returns to camp just as day breaks and Cowboy Ned's birthday arrives. Ed Sala's deep, craggy voice captures the cowboy setting. Sala narrates the story nimbly, switching from narrator to character easily. His voice adopts the personalities of the characters Andy meets along his journey--the scorpion, cricket, owl, and old cowboy.
