I HEARD THAT SONG BEFORE

Jan Maxwell captures the duplicity, blackmail, and murder that surround the Carrington family. She portrays Kay Lansing, Englewood librarian and daughter of the Carringtons' former landscaper, with a tone of naïveté. When Kay meets with Peter Carrington and requests to use the estate for a literary benefit, Peter is charmed and quickly agrees. Soon they marry, only to have ghosts from the past threaten their future when Peter is charged with murder. When Kay finds Peter sleepwalking, the story's intrigue is further heightened.
