Private investigator Regan Reilly and her new husband, Jack, head of the Major Case Squad in New York City, travel to a romantic castle in western Ireland for a their honeymoon. There they see ghosts and become involved in a racketeering investigation. The author reads her own work and vocally shades quaint characters with a variety of Irish brogues. Higgins Clark's depiction of Margaret, a painter who uses the design of a local dead person in her paintings, is portrayed as fearful of a ghost's revenge. While Higgins Clark uses inflections and cadence relatively well to portray characters of both genders and varying ages, a more experienced narrator would improve the performance.
