WILD JUSTICE

by | Read by Terry Wale

Mystery & Suspense • 6 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1960

Taking matters into his own hands, Peter Hadley, second mate of a British tramp steamer, goes searching for his sister, whom he hasn't heard from in two years. His inquiries take him from Philadelphia to New York and finally to Buenos Aires, with danger stalking him at every turn. Gangsters, strippers, dope dealers, and other stereotypical villains abound. Terry Wale turns in an acceptable performance of a story that is dated and lacking in subtlety. But Wale's American accents are weak, and his inadequate gender differentiation makes it difficult to figure out who is speaking. Overall, this was not a good choice for an audio production.
