When African-American shock jock Ritz Harper is left for dead in a drive-by shooting, her strong will and the fact that she wants to know who did this to her keep her alive. Wendy Williams herself is a New York City airwaves diva, and she certainly can dish in what appears to be a semiautobiographical work. Narrator Lizzy Cooper Davis fits this hip and glitzy work like the Manolos its heroine loves to wear. Whether she's portraying a New York City diva, an elderly Southern matron, or a bone-tired single mother, each of Davis's voices sounds true to character.
