Psychologist and homicide counselor Tally Whyte is portrayed with an engaging, friendly voice as she works with the friends and families of murder victims in Boston. All that changes when she returns to her hometown in Maine after she learns that her best friend's sister has been murdered. Stephanie Brush gives full attention to vocal nuance and tone as she describes the ritualistic murder scene where the mutilated body was found. She continues with a polished performance as Tally follows the clues that lead back to her father, her childhood, and the mysterious happenings that drove the two of them from the town years before.
