Cameron Beierle returns to narrate Robinson's eighth Hawk adventure. On the plus side, Beierle creates multiple voices for the characters, and his vocalization is precise. On the minus side, his performance is ponderous, sometimes slowing the action to a near standstill. FBI assassin Lane Palmer, otherwise known as Hawk, locks horns with Viper, a hired killer who leaves a calling card on his victims' bodies--a picture of a snake. The contract killer knows Hawk's true identity and appears to have selected him as a target.
