IT'S ALL GOOD

by | Read by Andrew Daddo

Biography & Memoir • 6 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2006

Fired from his job as an MTV producer in 1991, Australian-born Andrew Daddo set out to travel across the United States on a motorcycle. After he met Ray O'Neal at a party, they decided to ride together. In 2004, after learning of O'Neal's death, Daddo wrote to O'Neal's daughter, Rose, telling her all about the trip and their adventures along the way. Daddo's narration is full of Australian slang and unusual American accents. Rock music separates chapters and scene changes. Reading at a steady pace, Daddo keeps the listener's attention by describing America from an outsider's point of view. At the same time, he provides a eulogy for his one-time friend while trying to share memories of him with daughter Rosie. M.B.K. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine [Published: FEB/ MAR 08]
