FLETCH WON

Thanks to William Dufris, this title, first released in 1985, hasn't lost its sparkle--or its humor. Fletch is a fledgling reporter who is summarily removed by his editor from his assignment of writing obituaries. ("The deceased never accomplished anything in 56 years.") Instead he is to cover the story of a lawyer's $5 million gift to an art museum. But before the interview, the lawyer is found murdered in the newspaper's parking lot. Naturally, Fletch investigates. Fletch and most of McDonald's other characters are hilarious. Dufris appropriately voices the rapid exchanges between Fletch and his prey.
