DOPPELGANGER

This debut science fiction thriller is a refreshing addition to the genre, and Australian narrator Alan King brings the story to life in a compelling and believable reading. With an honest-sounding voice, King gives an everyday tone to this far from ordinary story of Andrew, a man caught between two very different worlds. King’s sense of urgency and tension is obvious and well played throughout, and his performance soars with his portrayals of the scores of seedy, underhanded characters that pop up. Offering a variety of sinister voices and differing accents, King demonstrates a colorful palette of narration skills. L.B.
