KISS OF DEATH

by | Read by Celeste Lawson

Mystery & Suspense • 8.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2007

Morgan Tyler, producer and writer of a soap opera, hires a private detective to find out who she really is and why she was found alone in a van as a child. Then when her best friend is accused of murder, Morgan does a little sleuthing of her own to try to clear her friend’s name. Celeste Lawson, who has read other titles in Palmer's Daytime Mystery series, paces this fourth book well for a pleasant listen. Characters are differentiated more by pitch and volume than by distinct voices. The technique is effective but does not produce a stand-out audio experience.
