HAIRYMAN MEETS TAILYBONE

This collection of supernatural tales showcases the talents of storyteller David Holt and includes a range of great tell-aloud stories--from scary tales of North Carolina mountain folks to Alaskan, Irish, and Scottish folktales. Holt commands listeners' attention with his vivid characterizations. He has a natural-sounding Southern accent and a knack for entertaining dialogue. Harmonica riffs and banjo trills conjure up a Southern backdrop for some of the stories. Suspense-building techniques often draw on music, as well.
