ILL WIND

This tape-turner will leave listeners glad it's just science fiction--and that bacteria aren't likely to threaten their tapes or listening equipment. Ill Wind describes how quickly society crumbles after the release of an airborne bacteria intended to aggressively consume oil pollution; instead it attacks every existing petroleum product. Studio production noises, like slamming doors, squeaky chairs and page-turning, will occasionally distract the listener. McKeever's monotonous reading adds nothing to the presentation, requiring interest to be maintained on the strength of the story alone.
