NO SLEEP FOR THE DEAD

Riley Gavin, freelance journalist, often works with Frank Palmer on stories she’s investigating. They begin to follow two cases simultaneously. One involves an old woman out for revenge, and the other arises from Frank’s recognition of a man from his past whom he thought was dead. Annie Aldington reads at a brisk pace that is unvaried regardless of whether the text is action, dialogue, or description, so careful listening is a must. Happily, the characters' voices fit their personalities and are quite good.
