NEW YORK TIMES editor Jamieson has a cute premise: What if I got experts to answer my son's questions and those of other young kids? Yoko Ono explains why the Beatles broke up, and a dominatrix tackles a question about a whip. Patrick Lawlor, who has a boyish voice to begin with, makes all the kids sound as if they're high on Mountain Dew and Skittles. Despite that, the book disappoints. Some questions are more interesting than others, but it's hard to skip around because all the tracks are exactly three minutes long. And don't plan to listen to this book with your kids. Most answers are over their heads. And who wants to explain what a dominatrix is? E.D.R. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine [Published: FEB/ MAR 08]
