Dr. D'Adamo expands his bestselling "eat for your blood type" diet into six distinct genotypes. Author D'Adamo excels at explaining genetics in an accessible way. But the hands-on section of the book, where listeners take body measurements to calculate their genotype, is better suited for the print version. An absence of track titles makes it impossible to reference measurement directions or to skip to the sections not pertaining to one's own genotype. Certainly most people will not enjoy listening to five diet plans that don't pertain to them. Narrator Patrick Lawlor overenunciates and tries too hard to make the text sound exciting, characteristics that give the production the tone of an infomercial. While this material is intriguing, you need the print version to actually follow the diet plan. J.T. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine [Published: JUNE 2008]
