THE JOB

Driven by ambition, ad salesman Ned Allen makes some poor choices that shatter his yuppie Manhattan world. His life, marriage and job are spiraling out of control. John Slattery plays out a believable internal struggle as Allen faces moral and legal questions that have a keen sense of "this-could-be-you." Slattery strikes just the right balance between personal narrative and the sharp, quick banter with his corporate associates. He's good with the minor characters, but part of the strength of the story is that it stays centered on Ned's escalating entanglements with fraud and murder.
