THE KID NEXT DOOR

You gotta love little boys! Especially when they're about 8 or 9 and their world revolves around space, spies and pets. Although written for ages 7 and up, the humor in this series about two best friends will be appreciated more by adults. Heller is stellar. His voice has the perfect pre-pubescent high pitch. His descriptions of Adam Joshua's dog and baby sister are uproariously funny. He reads with perpetual confusion and wonder in his voice, so refreshing and typical of this age group.
