KISSING THE GUNNER'S DAUGHTER

A bank robbery results in murder, a triple killing in a stately manor, and Detective Chief Inspector Wexford believes these crimes are related. This is a satisfying presentation for Ruth Rendell fans. Narrator Ravenscroft separates dialogue from descriptive passages with different pacing. The interplay between characters is conversational, timed to allow the listener to imagine the situation and to recognize each speaker easily. His dialects are authentic, and his voices distinctive.
