THE KITCHEN MYSTIC

Grieco has formed her own eclectic brand of spirituality through years of trial and error. She worships goddesses, food and other everyday objects, hence the name of the tape. She chooses to find high spirituality in simple things like cooking and breathing. Her reading of her work is perky and upbeat in the first tape, and musical bridges consisting of lively piano tunes add atmosphere. The second tape becomes more somber and subdued.
