With flair and style Charles Keating voices Lynley and the large number of Cornish locals, from police to the mind-boggling numbers of suspects. However, there are so many characters and subplots, so many strands to weave together, that Keating's precise interpretations and intelligent narration would have been better served by an unabridged production.
