THE LION FIRST BIBLE

These summations of well-known stories from the Bible are edited for children and are rather faithful to the Biblical text. Beginning with the Creation account in Genesis 1, we are treated to such stories as the Exodus, the fall of Jericho, David and Goliath, and finally the New Heaven described in The Revelation. Cribbins, a British actor, reads these stories with animation and energy. Knowing his audience, he adds some fun sound effect (cymbals, trumpets, etc.) that will keep young listeners perked-up.
