AT MY FATHER'S WEDDING

Author John Lee explores the difficulties many men have with their fathers, both absentee and abusive. This work focuses on the necessary symbolic killing of the father figure and the ways in which others may fill the void that is left. Lee’s reading is personal, passionate, and, at times, humorous and inspiring. His writing resembles Robert Bly’s while his voice is closer to John Bradshaw’s.
