In a story reminiscent of PETER PAN, the focus is on young Paul Dear, who has always felt close to “The Boy” and to “The Anyplace”—the realm where “The Boy” rules. In his dreams Paul has often run through that land with his snow tiger, and now he shares one last adventure with his friends there. Not certain the world needs another version of PETER PAN? It doesn't matter. Simon Vance's narration makes this an outstanding listening experience. He is utterly charming and obviously having great fun. Whether voicing “The Boy,” a sensible young lady, a pirate, a talking tiger, or an Indian brave, Vance makes the listener believe in the character—which is an especially good thing for the pixies, who need belief to survive!
