THE LOUD HALO

Enlivened reading, coupled with Gordon's ability to capture the personality of each character, reflects all the natural, goodnatured, hardy and sometimes whimsical aspects of life with the Hebrides before WWII. Gordon moves easily from the learned British accent of Beckwith to a modified Scottish pronunciation, all the while keeping the listener's interest in the plot and the delightful people. Her enthusiasm for the story appears in the chipper, energetic tone of her voice.
