Bonnie and Sam love horses, and they usually get to ride every day despite not owning one. Narrator Miranda Nation captures each girl's cute and distinctive personality, unique Aussie accent, and mumbled sarcastic asides. Bonnie is a horse whisperer, and Nation portrays her gift movingly. The girls are up for any challenge and have many adventures that reveal their compassion as well as their joy in the horse world. There's a laugh in her voice as Nation describes a horse eating a flower off a spectator's hat. The fast-paced stories include wonderful horse lore and humor, along with demonstrations of kindness.
