His vocal clarity, British accent, and Shakespearean pacing make him fun and easy to hear. The advice from an expert on creative thinking and decision-making ranges from tips on engaging people in casual conversation to the complexities of Aristotelian logic, polemics, and the six types of thinking he’s elaborated on in previous books. De Bono has a good grasp of the emotional side of conversational sparring, though the emphasis is decidedly on explaining the complexities of verbal communication and ideational flow. For the detail-oriented thinker or the philosophically minded, this is a reference that is full of original ideas and provocative conversational strategies.
