THE MISADVENTURES OF SILK AND SHAKESPEARE

During the early 1830's, sixteen-year-old Tal "Silk" Jones heads west to seek adventure and find his runaway father. Along the way, he and Ronald "Shakespeare" Smyth, a self-proclaimed actor turned mountain man, become partners. At first, narrator John Randolph Jones's deep resonant voice seems too cultured for these characters and setting. But, it doesn't take long to realize that Jones's storytelling style is a near-perfect fit. Rather than separating players through voice inflection or dialect, he spins this yarn with just enough variation to really hold the listener's attention.
