Who knew that the man who owns the most powerful media empire in the world would be so normal and so boring? Media reporter and narrator Michael Wolff takes us inside the secret world of Rupert Murdoch, and, while the story of his ever-expanding conglomerate is fascinating, the fact that the man himself is rather ordinary is disappointing. Murdoch comes off as less of a master manipulator and more of an overly ambitious grandfather who is clutching at immortality. Further, Wolff's slow and deliberate narration can drag at times.
