MURDER AT THE KENNEDY CENTER

Truman has created some of her most appealing characters and intrigue in this Capital crime novel. Who killed Andrea Fledman? The suspects include the lascivious presidential candidate and all his immediate family members. Allison Green does a good job portraying all the characters, from the Panamanian colonel to the New York attorney and to the street-smart ex-cop. Sometimes she drops her voice at the end of sentences, and the listener misses a few words. Green's voice is clear and her reading well-paced for the story's intricate, dramatic plot.
