MURDER AT THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS

Award-winning actor Philip Bosco again lends his talent to one of Margaret Truman's Capital Crimes mysteries. While amateur sleuth Annabel Smith researches an article for CIVILIZATION, the magazine of the Library of Congress, she shares a work area with the leading expert on Spanish and Portuguese history. When he's found bludgeoned to death, Annabel must find the killer before he acts again and destroys the reputation of the Library of Congress. Bosco is excellent as he weaves elements of femininity and naïveté in his performance of Annabel. His portrayal of the other researchers and patrons of the library convinces the listener that the politics of Washington don't stop at the door of the library.
