Barrett sweeps listeners into the dark underworld of human traffickers and is adept at the diverse accents and voices involved in this high-precision plot. As Barrett portrays the terror of the illegals and the brutality of the traffickers his cautious style allows listeners to absorb the intense emotions without being overwhelmed.
