TRUE COLOURS

In late 2005, Lauren Huxley, a young Australian woman, was savagely attacked in her own home by a complete stranger and left to die. This is the story of Lauren's miraculous recovery from her coma, the hunt for her attacker, and the Huxley family's stressful journey through all of this. Narrator Julie Nihill's steady, calm narration is appropriate, as the events described are horrifying enough to listen to without dramatic embellishment. She does shade her voice to distinguish the different characters but in an understated way that makes the listener empathize with Lauren and her family members all the more.
