New York private investigator Frank Clemons finds himself unexpectedly and emotionally involved in tow very different cases. Clemons investigates the murder of a gypsy woman in what should be an open-and-shut case and at the same time, looks into the suspicious actions of a the young wife of an older, wealthy man. George Guidall's reading style is so powerful and riveting that the listener is literally forced to race for the next cassette. Accents, gender distinctions, emotional tones--all of these are mere playthings with which Guidall works his magic.
