ANNE MANX AND THE EMPRESS BLAIR PROJECT

In this radio play, Anne Manx has undertaken to protect the young empress whose father has been killed and who soon will assume power from those who would rather keep it to themselves. Forces are working against her—and for her. The trick is to figure out which is which. The play has humor, action, and intrigue. It employs a full range of sound effects that are effective in creating the mood of the story and presenting the various settings in which the action occurs. Claudia Christian, in her role as Anne, is the anchor of the cast, and the quality of all of the performers is even and well matched. They keep the plot moving at a smooth and even pace.
