OCTOPUS LADY AND CROW

Johnny Moses, traditional healer, spiritual leader and storyteller, tells nine animal-people stories from the Northwest Coast. The stories are sacred tales meant to teach children lessons through fun and entertainment. One of them is a cautionary tale about a basket ogress who eats dirty children who have goopy noses and don't listen to the elders. She tracks them down by their stinky smells. Each story is introduced with a traditional song and a passage from its language of origin.
