OUT OF BODY

In this edgy suspense story, Denton Hake is a paroled rapist whose firm belief that he's innocent comes from the fact that he has no recollection of ever having committed the crime. Fee Waybill (ex-lead singer for The Tubes) gives Denton's character a quirky, boyish flair that endears him to listeners. Although Denton's blackouts continue after he moves in with his brother and sister-in-law, Waybill's genuine portrayal sets the stage for a suspenseful ride through Denton's new life of freedom. Waybill's spirited reading quality gives listeners the hope that Denton is truly innocent.
