Tim Gregory's deft reading style and natural storytelling ability add drama, suspense, and a chilling sense of danger to his portrayal of young Thomas Hunter, in what is called a "prequel-sequel" to the series. It begins when Hunter falls asleep in 2010 and awakens two thousand years later in the Black Forest. The world he knew has been replaced by a new earth and a new Adam to offer humanity a second chance. Unlike Hunter's old world, this world's evil powers and dominions are visible. Despite Gregory's excellent delivery, the production’s success as a “prequel-sequel” never comes off as lots of dull information is included for those unfamiliar with the series.
