Who could be cooler than Mark Mobius, with his black turtleneck and trademark bald head? The fact that he is the mutual fund manager for the Templeton Group and constantly travels the globe in search of sound, under-valued companies in risky emerging markets is also pretty neat. In PASSPORT TO PROFITS, Mobius lays out 80 ironclad rules for investing in developing nations, and as he jets from Russia to the newly independent Baltic countries to Brazil, he reiterates the fact that developing nations have far more potential for growth than our own country. He also stresses that this is not a game for the faint of heart or for those not willing to do the work. The author's reading captures his enthusiasm, his advice is solid and wise, and even if you have no interest in volatile overseas markets, this audio plays like a great adventure story.
