Some of Jonathan Kellerman fans will welcome his latest book; others may be disappointed. But neither of the two groups will be disappointed by John Rubinstein's narration. Kellerman’s usual protagonist, deep-thinking detective Alex Delaware, stays in the background here, and his buddy Milo Sturgis ultimately solves the murder of a couple who seem to have been involved in a romantic tryst. There are plenty of suspects as Milo—and sometimes Delaware—wade through the case. Rubinstein's performance is sensational as Milo battles the FBI, and he's especially credible as an Arabian prince.
