PICKETT'S CHARGE

Those as uninformed as this reviewer may not know that Confederate General George Pickett led a disastrous charge during the Battle of Gettysburg. Enter George Steward whose description and analysis of the battle, when read aloud, last nearly as long as the charge did. For serious students of the Civil War, the book is a detailed piece of historical research. Nelson Runger's reading of Steward's account is immaculate.
